I have been working a fair bit lately though I guess you wouldn't know it from how I've updated in the past few months, but I have been working on other projects, just not anything really photography-related lately. However I did get invited to a great party where I took a ton of pictures and if I had only actually made up some cards I probably could have handed them out and made some contacts, at least I hope I made a contact with the hostess. I am currently away on my long-anticipated vacation, a real vacation far from home (not another lousy staycation) which is proving to be all kinds of fun and educational as well. Woah, I had forgotten to update this page in a minute it looks like. Well I've been pretty busy and I have a ton of pics to put up. I went to the aquarium for my birthday(no I won't tell you how old I am- OLD! ok?) which was a lot of fun. I love the water and the things that live in it are fascinating and beautiful. There is a shark tank that you can walk underneath through a glass tunnel. I also went to see the King Tut exhibit, and though of course we weren't allowed to take pictures I did get pictures from the rest of the museum- American Indian Art and some Japanese. We spent two hours in the Tut exhibit and then only an hour in the rest

Had a true taste of winter today (and I guess technicaly yesterday too) when we got several inches of ice dumped on us overnight. We got sent home early from work yesterday afternoon and it took over an hour to drive home since all the highways were closed because the overpasses were covered with ice. Everything was covered with ice and was still coming down. By the time we got home I couldn't drive up into the driveway, I got partway up and started to slide alarming towards the concrete embankment. And in my nice (almost) new car no less! I nearly had a heart-attack, but managed to get the car back down and parked on the lawn instead. Then
